This private voice mail is being monitored by The Family Health Centers’ Compliance Team.  The Hotline for use by employees of The Family Health Centers ONLY.

What is the purpose of this Whistle Blower Hotline?

The purpose of this anonymous hotline is for employees of The Family Health Centers to report observed incidents of Fraud, Waste, or Abuse of practice resources. Examples can include falsifying of claims or medical records, billing for services not rendered, submitting multiple bills for the same service, upcoding, theft of a patient’s identity, ordering unnecessary tests or imaging, scheduling unnecessary appointments, and mismanagement of the practice’s books and records.

Can the company take action against me for coming forward with information about fraud, waste or abuse of practice resources?

Every employee is protected by Section 806 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act from retaliation and/or discharge by their company as the result of their role in disclosing violations of various federal laws.

When can I leave a message on the Hotline?

You can leave a message anytime, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Must I leave my name and contact information, or can this be an anonymous message?

You are not required to leave your name and contact information. If you choose to leave contact information, it is strictly on a voluntary basis.
