Hummus
Ingredients:
- 1 (15 oz) can chickpeas, rinsed
- 5 Tbsp water
- ¼ c. Tahini
- 3 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 ½ Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- ½ small garlic clove, minced
- Salt
- ⅛ tsp ground cumin
- Pinch Cayenne pepper
- 1 Tbsp minced fresh parsley
Preparation Instructions:
- Process chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, oil, garlic, ½ tsp salt, cumin and cayenne together in food processor until smooth
- Transfer to bowl, cover and refrigerate for at last an hour to let flavors blend.
- Season with salt to taste and sprinkle with parsley and a little cayenne prior to serving.
